[Scan-DC] F-16s on HF

All,

Tonight a couple of the Minn ANG F-16s (callsign Polar) here in the DC CAP 
have been trying to communicate on HF with some of the GHFS stations.  I 
heard one of the aircraft in a couple of off-freq calls on 13.200. Both 
pilots seemed a little befuddled on how to get the HF set working.  But one 
of them mentioned that he was listening to the BBC.

Another listener in the area heard them mention trying to communicate on 
8.992.

Didn't know that the F-16s had an HF capability.  Has anyone ever heard them 
on HF?
