So what if they do? I doubt they are "constantly monitored" for that
purpose. I do know there are many in the Gov't, including the SS who are
hobbyists too and enjoy the same radio monitoring.

Use common sense when posting information you gather off-air.

SCAN-DC is an online mailing group for scanner hobs in the Washington DC
area.  Because of this fact, do you think that the online archives are
constantly being monitored by the Secret Service or other federal
angencies? I am just curious, that's all.  If anyone knows for a fact
that mailing lists like ours are monitored by the federal government,
please let me know.
