I dont know about coverage, but you should have much better sound quality.

Not scanner related but I figured you guys could answer my question.  I have
an analog cell phone and the coverage stinks in certain areas where the
towers are less frequent.  Will upgrading to a digital phone give me more
coverage or better reception?
