[Scan-DC] Uniden Digital

The only information on the Uniden digital scanners I know of is on the 
brochure's.

"1100 channels/10 banks"?

If anyone has some more information on these scanner,
I would like to know what type of battery they will suport and if they may 
let us use disposable alkaline battery's?
