Well, when and IF M.C. goes digital, I doubt in the short term, we can
listen. There is nothing out there that is cheap that can cover the digital
spectrum. Frederick City (or is it the county?) is digital so you are
basically out of luck.

I am sure DFRS will keep 154.16 as a back up much like DC did for
emergencies or dual dispatch for a time.

Has it even been confirmed they are going DIGITAL and not just to the 800
band? I know that the county has reserved lots and lots of 800 band
channels. Possibly a trunked system?

This whole thing has been kicked around for YEARS. However, the new ECC in
Gaithersburg is coming online soon..I guess we shall see!
