David, Cathy, Hello, I also live in Gaithersburg (around Clopper and Longdraft) and smeel and see smoke. What freq's are the fire board on in this area. I usually scan the police, pepco, and the nightly CAP going on above us. Any more scanner buff's in Gaithersburg??? Marshall
