All,

In the mid 1600 hour (EST) N162W, Northrup-Grumman BAC 1-11 was noted working
with Echo Control (291.15 & 262.95). They requested permission for several
runs in one of the Patuxent River restricted areas over an 1.5 hour period at
altitudes from 15-20,000 ft.

N162W is one of several specially-configured aircraft operated by
Northrup-Grumman, based at Baltimore-Washington International Airport. These
aircraft are used as test beds for avionics and equipment for developmental
(F-16, F-22 & JSF) aircraft.

Earlier in the day Northrup-Grumman T-39 Sabreliner (N160W) was also noted
returning from the PAX River area after a test flight.
