[Scan-DC] Quantico Drill - Thursday, February 21

Just a reminder for those of you who have volunteered,
the Quantico Emergency Drill is this Thursday,
February 21. This drill will simulate a passenger
train hitting a chemical truck at a crossing.  The
drill will be held on February 21, 2002, from 9:00 am
to 12:00 noon.  However, volunteers will need to check
in at 7:30 am.  

For a number of years, VRE has held drills and
training sessions for police and emergency/rescue
personnel that are located within our services areas. 
The purpose of these sessions is to help the local
governments prepare in the event of an incident.  This
drill is one of many ongoing programs to insure your
commute is as safe as possible.
