There already was a melee here at UMCP during the ticket campout, 
resulting in many people in the front of the ticket line not getting 
tickets and having all their stuff trampled too. Not a good sign. 
Unfortunately, students here don't seem to be able to control 
themselves when it comes to sports...

I'm not sure because when I got into scanning late last year (due to our 
Semster of Disasters, with 9/11, the tornado, several fires, and the 
drug OD on frat row) they were already using the trunk system. I actually 
found it by accident while looking for someone else's TRS on 
gullfoss. My guess is they got it either last year or the year 
before, but no earlier.

I don't know if they are using this currently, but last semester it was 
still in use by a few of the student police aides. Probably because they 
didn't have enough of the new radios for everybody.
