I too participated.  My goal was to go back to QRP.  Dropped power from 75 to 5 watts.   Spent about the same time operating.  Worked 15% fewer Q's (51 vrs 60 last year).  QSO score went from 240 to 495.  I had an extra 100 bonus points for the "message".   Total score went from 540 points to 895 points. 
Wonder if we'll be able to stay home next year.  I was surprised they didn't close the mountain.  Didn't really want to go up there anyway. Too much trouble to set up stuff at my age and we had company this weekend. Daughter from Oregon, son-in-law from Texas, and a grand-daughter from Glendale.  The $ paid for meals was worth it.
