We were about to go out and ended up turning around and coming back home. The radar echo on my phone showed a large echo over us and to the south that was not moving. We were at Tanque Verde Road and Tanque Verde Loop when I suspected a bad situation was at hand with wind, rain and water running across the road and decided to head home. That was the first storm. About an hour or so later a storm developed over the Catalina's and moved south over us. This storm was much worse with high winds at our house of 49mph at my carport roof. It dumped a lot of rain and blew my cover off the one rain gauge on the fence. The rain gauge on the roof got 0.98 inches and the one on the fence was about 1.19 inches, but I can't trust it since the cover blew off. My antenna was in the down position, as I am working on rotor problems and it made it through just fine.

Did anyone loose any antennas last night in the violent storm the East side had. There were many trees uprooted near Tanque Verde and Soldier trail as well as North of there along Soldier trail.

At my QTH things got blown around but the antennas all made it through OK. Heavy rain also rearranged a lot of dirt and gravel on  the roads, and yards.
