Not a drop out here near Saguaro Park West. I've been measuring and reporting daily rainfall to Rainlog.org since 2006. Up until July, it's been the driest year I've seen (1,4"). I was actually watering some of the Ironwood trees. I have dead prickly pear and Cholla all over the place and the Palo Verde trees are stressed. All of that changed last month when I got 6.6". The park is as green as can be and the flowers have decided that it's springtime.
Sorry to hear all of the bad news.
Wes
