[SADXA] 40 meter daylight DX......from the Sweden point of view

I sometimes suffer from insomnia, and this morning was one of those occasions. I got up at 3:30 AM to check out 40 meters. If you're up that early you may as well try for some Asians on 40, right?

I didn't get Japan, but I worked SM3NXS out of Sweden at 1101 UTC. A check of what the daylight pattern using www.timeanddate.com at that time shows that he was in daylight and not too far past his solar noon. I'd guess within one hour. He was working several East Coast stations and I jumped in when he was clear. Signal reports both ways were 539, but 100% copy at my end.

This is not my first time getting Europe on 40, but it is my first time getting them at this time of day.

I think Sten, SM3NXS, will concur that there's something to this 40 meter daylight DX during/near the winter solstice.
