Yeah, I remember them too—from the 50’s.  I’m pretty sure I worked a couple of stations using them, but apparently there were only about 400 of them manufactured.  A friend of mine in Arkansas had (has?) one.  Locally, Donnie Anderson may have had one of those at some point.  I know he had a couple of KW-1’s at one point, and those rascals are really expensive on the used market.  Donnie paid something like $20K for one of those, and that was 20 years ago or so!  Donnie’s garage was like walking through a time warp!  He had one of just about everything stacked up on one side of his garage or the other!

That is one great looking piece of equipment. I remember when they were on  the air a lot and there was no doubt what it was. Go for it Dick.
