Thanks Wes, what I am seeing is that TMP evidently is part of the Saguaro
National Park so my Golden Eagle pass should do the trick.
I am thinking of motoring down and staying a night or two and trying to
activate some SOTA peaks. Will see if I get ambitious enough to carry
through.

Technically, there is. I have an old folks pass so don't worry about it.
I've
never seen anyone hassled by rangers, at least in the West Unit. I can't
speak
to the East Unit.
