Here is the wording of the e-Mail I received from ARCA asking how the
conflict came about:

..."Yes, ARCA does try to coordinate Hamfest dates throughout the state.
Last year, the Oro Valley Club asked for the first Saturday of November. We
asked them to move the date either one week before or one week after as the
Cochise clubs swap meet has been held on the first Saturday of November for
many years. Oro Valley complied and moved their event. This year, however,
they chose not to ask and simply scheduled their event."...
