Dick,

Happy to hear that no inner shack components were damaged, although with my 
strike I neglected to check everything and a few months later discovered a 
432 SS amp had taken the hit and I figured  too late to add to the claim. 
Been very lucky here as my 50 footer sticks up like a lightning rod and 
hopefully continues to act like one.

Had a very close strike yesterday, too close !!
It took out the Dish Network Box, a Wall Wart
and destroyed the Balun Box on the Hy-Gain
AV-620 Vertical.

No damage to any computers, radios, modems
or anything else.

The Dish Box and Wall Wart are coming and I
will order a new Balun Box from MFJ. The plastic
cover (about 8" X 8") is gone, nowhere to be
found and the innards have too much damage to
repair.

All in all, I made out quite well for it could have
been much worse.
