[SADXA] TX5K slots

Hi Joe,
Well considering the somewhat limited antennas you have and power you
certainly have done well. I managed to work the mobile on 17m so the
pile-ups on some bands are getting easier to bust. 73 Tom NQ7R Casa Grande

DX-ers,

I still need them on 80m SSB, also. I tried on Wed. night, but I was not
heard the several times that the op got around to the 7s; he was working
by numbers. He had a great sig here on my G5RV. My wire runs exactly
N-S, however, and Clipperton is exactly South of us. The G5RV emits
not quite like a dipole on 80m, I think, but my 200 W to the G5RV at
35 ft was not enough to bust the pileup those couple of times for this
station with a heading along my wire. I got them on 20m and 40m with
the G5RV, and on 17m, 15, 12, and 10m on the trusty Antron A-99 plus
tuner. I too will try again on 80! See some of you in the pileup, maybe. ;-)

Got them on 6 bands, SSB. I don't yet work other modes with any proficiency.

No 160m ant here, so 7 bands is all I'll get of Clipperton now, if in fact I
do get
them on 80.

Before the op was spotted last night to the clusters, he was working simplex
with a CA station after 6 PM, here, and I came in at the end of that QSO,
but the op announced he would then QSY from 3790 to 3795, and

listen 4 up, on 3799... which he did... immediately. And the spot appeared,
and the op instantly started working by numbers, with 9's. I was out in the
cold. By the time he got to 7s, the pileup overwhelmed my sig, for both
rounds of numbers that I had the .patience to sit through.

Good luck, all!

73,

--Joe, W7DXW / Tucson

The chap on 80 last night had a short attention span !! He did not
keep at it very long if you were being qrm'ed.

He called ..."the W1 ending in Zulu"... , but I could see all the yahoos
on my Xmt freq and he gave up rather quickly I thought.

But, I had not turned on the Amp. I'll try again tonight.
