[RVRC] Happy Belated Birthday 8/23

Hello, Ron!  I know you must have thought I had departed this vale of tears because I missed your special day!  I’ve been on the road with a friend, 3,000 plus miles, from NJ out to CA and back since August 13!  I witnessed the total solar eclipse in Boise, Idaho, participated in a worldwide amateur radio experiment to measure the effects of the eclipse on radio propagation, and spent a week in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada, at the annual Burning Man festival!

For much of the trip, Internet was spotty to non-existent and I was often busy driving an ancient Toyota Siena mini-van loaded to the brim with camping equipment!  I hope you’ll forgive my absence!  

Here’s to a great year ahead!  May you have good health, happiness and prosperity in the days ahead!  Oh, and I hope you get a chance to cross things off your bucket list as I did!
