Members and friends,
These solar flares have timed it right........it's a potential opportunity to work long distances on VHF. This weekend (Sat./Sun.) is ARRL VHF ''September QSO Party".
There will be lots of activity and if these solar flares perform their magic, it will open six, two, and 70 cm bands. (Not to mention possibility of ten to be hot.)
There is no prediction for ''solar storms''.
Check out the activity, you might get to work DX on VHF.
