Hi, All!

I received a request from Emily at the Aubrey Foundation for communications
support for their "2nd Annual Purple for Pappas 5K" race that will be held *on
Sunday October 9th, 2016 at Linwood Middle School in North Brunswick, NJ.
They would be delighted if they could get 6+ ham radio operators to help
out with communications for their event. Our folks should be prepared to
arrive around 7:30 AM. The race ends around 11:30 AM. *

I met Aubrey's father at GriefShare -- she was a much-beloved teacher in
the area who died (along with her unborn child) in a tragic car wreck in
South Brunswick on October 8, 2014.

For more information on the foundation, please see:
http://www.theaubreyfoundation.org/

Unfortunately, I will not be in NJ for this event, as I will be traveling
out west for the next 4 weeks. So, I asked for someone to step up and
volunteer to lead a small team of hams in support of this worthwhile
charity.

Pat Howard, K2PAT, has stepped up to volunteer to coordinate this effort.
His email is:

K2PAT at arrl.net

Thank you for your consideration. 73,

GJ
