[RVRC] Win System Tech net

I really wish this club would consider disconnecting from all the other links permanently so we could pursue our own nets and build up local activity and so our own members and associates and local hams can use the repeater we pay into or donate to. Why are we paying for repeaters we can never use because distant people on links are always tying them up? The only linking we should be doing is linking our repeaters for nets or for members traveling and want to talk to family or us back home.

Marvin
I guess that could work. The problem I see
is that we are linked to other systems&would the control
operators of those systems approve?Don't want to step on
toes. That's why the 2 meter repeater would work&is stand
alone....Just saying...73..Pete

To all,
A thought occurred to me when Drew had mentioned the ''Tech
Net'' when Eric
was around. Well, in keeping with the
desire that Eric had to generate
more use on 442.250, how about having that ''Tech Net'' on
Friday but have
it on 442.250! ???? It's only one hour long and
It just may be something
that the network which the 442.250 repeater is linked into
would even like
the idea!! ??
As Craig pointed out, the Gent who runs that 'network' is
extremely
knowledgeable and might even join in with interesting and
educating
information! Maybe??
Optionally, the link could be disabled for the one hour!
