Hi all,****
Our regular 3rd Saturday of the month NJQRP Club meeting date of 3/16
collides this time with the Trenton Computer Festival, a fabulous day
filled with technology presentations, ham flea market and electronic vendor
displays held on the campus of The College of New Jersey.****
In fact, three of us are actually presenting this year at TCF on the 16th:
Joe N2CX, Joe “JJ” KC2VGL, and yours truly. Joe and I have a killer
presentation on “Ham Homebrewing: Fun & Easy Projects”, which is a
collective overview (and pass-around examples!) of most of the kits and
projects we’ve done over the past two decades with the NJQRP, Atlanticon
and AmQRP. We delivered a preliminary version of this show to the GCARC
Club last month, receiving rave reviews. And then JJ is delivering a
knock-out presentation on Energy Harvesting Techniques!****
*So as a result, we are moving the March meeting of the NJQRP to the
following Saturday: March 23rd*. It’ll be at the same place/time as usual
at the Brooklawn Community Center.****
*Now the theme for our March meeting: The NJQRP Annual Swapfest!* We are
pulling out the stops, and everything else in our basements, and bringing
them to the meeting for swap, cheap sale, and downright giveaway. This is
an eagerly-anticipated event we have every year in the NJQRP and now is the
time to start identifying all the goodies you want to trade or get rid of.
Personally, Joe and I have a boatload to bring – most of mine are
boatanchors, components and accessories that need to find a new home. ****
So … you’ll kick yourself if you miss either weekend coming up: the TCF on
Saturday the 16th (see info below) and the NJQRP Swapfest Meeting on the 23
rd.****
See you there at both!****
