Hello Jeff,
It was great seeing you at the hamfest and I appreciate your feedback as
we can use that information to improve future hamfest. We didn't cover
146.52 this year just our 2 repeaters. We'll correct that. If you came
up Route 18 we did have a problem with the sign placement due to
construction and moved markers. There's a value in lessons learned and
since you are the hamfest chairman for the OMARC hamfest you know the
value of that information.
Additionally, the township removed all the trees from the lot and we
lost our our elevated PA supports. However, pointing the speakers toward
the parked cars and not the sellers and buyers will be changed.
I'm glad you enjoyed the hamfest, as we also found it enjoyable for the
same reasons and we couldn't have asked for a better day.

Good Morning,
First let me say that I had a great time at the Hamfest. But I
do have a few comments for the Hamfest Committee.
1. Road Signs. I went back the way I came in( off of RT-287) and
only saw signs at the turn off of Hoes lane.
2. Talk in Frequencies. Your flyer stated that you would be
monitoring 145.620 Simplex. No one was. Since I do not
come up into the northern counties I did not have you repeater
programmed into my radio. This would have made
finding the site a bit easier if I could have been talked in.
3. P.A. System. I was parked on the west side of the event. And
could not hear the P.A. at all. So I do nor know if I
won something or not.
4. You had plenty of help by the look of things. And all club
members should be Thanked for walking around, talking to
the vendors and buyers alike. I was nice to see such great club
participation.
Just a few comments. Over all I had a great time. Saw some
people that I have not seen in awhile, got some sun( had sun block) and
made a few dollars to put towards my next Radio purchase. Great Job
overall. Maybe I can make it next year if it does not conflict with any
radio events.
