[RVRC] Club Notice for February 13, 2013 meeting

            To all Raritan Valley Radio Club Members

This message is being sent to each of our members to notify them that there
will be a special session meeting scheduled in February during our normal
meeting time and place.

We will spend very little time on club reports, etc. and shift the theme of
the meeting to discuss our mission as a radio club.
This past year we have experienced higher than normal expenses due to our
changes in our repeater equipment and where we house the clubs repeater
equipment.
This meeting will be devoted to discussions on how and why we need to raise
funds to handle the costs associated with operating our repeater system.
We would also like to hear from club members who are involved in the
operation of this equipment, so the membership can get a clear view of what
is available for membership usage.

We are hoping that we can get some ideas from the membership about
additional fund raising thru club activities, membership dues increase &
assessments that maybe needed to cover costs for the club, so that our club
operational accounts are operating in a positive area. 
Please attend this meeting as your input is valuable to the future of our
organization!
