[RVRC] YAESU's announcement, strategy and arguments on digital ham radio

I believe this booklet should be read by all of us who may be
contemplating digital communications on the VHF/UHF bands.  I wondered
when another manufacturer would present an alternative to D-STAR.
I've always been a little troubled by the fact that no other brands
seemed eager to adopt this "standard."  This booklet offers some
cogent arguments for considering other types of encoding.  Thanks for
