Earlier this evening, I had the pleasure of working Ray, N4LEM, on 14.200 MHz., and found out that he is a member of the same radio club that Dave belongs to, so I inquired on Dave's status, since I hadn't heard anything further since he was hospitalized last week.
 
Ray related that the club was very upset with Dave's sudden hospitalization, and attempts were made to visit him, but the doctors felt that they wanted to keep him quiet, and denied him any visitors.
 
At one point, he may have been in the ICU, but has since been removed from there. While still hospitalized, Dave, appears to be past the worst part of his situation, and is now on the mend.
