[RVRC] My signals heard in TX with 1 watt!

Hello Gerry,
Verykewl indeed, and many thanks for sharing this with
us! I didn't realize you could narrow your passband down to 10hz with the
Flex, but it seems to reason that it's entirely possible. Talk about a QRM
fighter! The narrow filter fascinates me, as do all of the true IF DSP and
SDR techniques.

Just a FYI: I acquired a "RFSpace" SDR-IQ, and the IF-2000 board that I
installed in my Yaesu FT-950. It doesn't offer the same versatility as the
Flex radio (especially on transmit) but it gives a clear concise picture of
a signal with all of it's anomolies! With the menu set for both panoramic
and verical waterfall displays, one can actually see the dots and dashes
transmitted by a CW signal. I find that aspect of it fascinating, and it
helps me bring up my CW speed -)

Hope to CU on the waterfall soon via PSK31 or any of the digital modes. If
you (or anyone else reading this) would like to sked, please let me know.

I ESPECIALLY LIKE FELDHELL, IT'S A REALLY KEWL MODE. TRY 7.077 FOR HELL
CONTACTS.
