OK Ev - I use the W8XJK booster and it works admirably. It is worth
the $150 investment, but if all you are worrying about is starting
drop, it probably is overkill.
I think a capacitor would probably be OK. I think that MFJ sells
something like this. Calculate the size of capacitor you need, it will
probably be much larger than you think. Like several Farads. Let us
