Hi Bill,

Karen and I are fine, thanks! We're going down to look for a second house,
perhaps one we can retire to in a few years. We've identified one on the
mainland that is just inside FM13, so we're real anxious to look at it.

We will be in Oak Island on Friday night. Right now, we don't have
anything planned. So, if you want to try to play radio, that could be fun.
We're staying at a motel run by a ham, so there should be no problems
there! I suspect if you wanted to come down for the night, he might have
some room and we could hook up again.

You've just given me an idea... I just got a new IC-706 installed in the
car. I also have the FT-847 installed with all of its transverters. I
could move the 2m port of my antenna splitter to the 706 and listen there
and on 222 at the same time (or any of the other bands on the 847 for that
matter). So, to answer your question, yes, I will listen on 144.260 also!

Too bad on the Elizabethan Inn... is that policy just in season or is it
all year long now?

73 for now.
