L.B. Cebik W4RNL on Moxons
I cannot remember if I let you know, but I have had enough requests for
information on 6-meter Moxons that I put an article on the subject at the
website:
http:w ww.cebik.com/6m.html (delete the space in w ww)
It covers horizontal Moxons for the low end (50.5 MHz design fq) and
vertical Moxons for the FM band (53-MHz design fq), as well as crossed
Moxons for both (separate feedlines) in both tube/rod and wire versions
(low-end only due to confined bandwidth of thinner elements). There are
dimension tables, because despite its ready availability, most folks do not
go after one of the many automated design programs available.
Hope it helps the 6-meter gang.
