The first word that killed the kit ideas for me was SURFACE MOUNT!   I have
a heck of a time soldering PL-259's most days and surface mount parts would
just be a practice in frustration and futility!

Thanks for the reply's though as I have one less road to have to worry about
taking.

For anyone wondering, the Alinco DX-70T, mobile bracket, commercial dipole
antenna, and 2 power cords. Asking about $350.00 shipped CONUS. Also have
the original box and manuals. Radio was purchased approx. August 2001 from
Radio Shack Express. NON-SMOKER.
