[RadioShack] sick scanner question

First of all...thanks for starting a Radio Shack list!

Second ..I have a Pro-2004 scanner that I've had for years.Picked this one up 
right after Radio Shack came out with this line of scanners. Well just a few 
days ago the thing quit. It turns on and the like,but no noise from the 
speaker and nothing on the display.Anyone have or had a Pro-2004 that had the same 
problem? I'm looking to get some ideas before peeking inside in hopes of 
reviving this radio.
