[RadioShack] ham question

ive never worked these bands   i know there are some 23cm machines in the
San Francisco Bay Area but ive never been able to receive them on my PRO-94
i believe that they are basically local and line of sight   however, the key
to improving reception is a better antenna which generally means the higher
the better  there are some excellent yahoo scanner antenna groups you might
