CQ CQ CQ Calling all Hospital Operators:
Here is a list of all the Hospitals and number assigned to each Hospital.
As I stated earlier the goal is to get 6 operators per hospital to allow 2
operators for 3 shifts of 8 hours each should the need arise, and we never
know when that is going to happen!! We are fortunate we haven't lost power
in the Hospitals this Monsoon. If we don't have 6 per hospital, then we will
have to work 12 hour shifts providing we have at least 4 per hospital.
For those of you who have been faithful to the Hospitals in the past few
months, I want to thank you for your support.
St. Mary's - 5 one is chronically sick and will be a while before they
return which makes 4 available - need at least 2 more
Tucson Heart - 5 - need 1 more
St. Joseph's - 7
Northwest OroValley - 4 - need 2
Northwest Tucson - 3 need 3
TMC - 6
UMC - 3 need 3
Kino - 3 need 3
VA - 3 need 3
So you can see from the information here that we are really in need for some
of you who have been meaning to help out in the Hospital area to rise to the
occasion. I must say that with the very few Call-Outs (other than
the monthly training), we have for one reason or another that volunteering
for the hospitals hopefully will provide that opportunity to serve the
public you are looking for.
If you want to see the latest list of hospital teams you will need to log in
to the PC RACES website and go to the hospital training tab on the menu.
