Once again we will have our monthly training exercise this coming Saturday.
I would like all hospitals to report in immediately following the Sat PC
RACES VHF net at 13:00 hrs MST.

Please go to the PC RACES website and login in and check the hospital
training tab. You will see I have uploaded the hospital contacts and the
latest inventory, and made some revisions. If you are a team leader please
check your hospital's inventory for accuracy and get back with me. I still
need operators to voluntarily help me with Tucson Heart, Northwest Oro
Valley, Northwest Tucson, UMC and Kino. There are a cluster of folks that
live near St. Joseph’s and TMC that could voluntarily be reassigned to any
of the other hospitals. Please remember that we continue to train for worst
case scenario – 24/7 for a 7 day period should the need arise. Translated,
we need to have as many operators assigned to the hospitals so as not to put
any strain on any particular operator. If we can all pull together and have
at least 2 operators for an 8 hour period, this would be FANTASTIC.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call me or email me. See
below.

I also attend the MMRS meeting once a month. This is a meeting where
representatives from each hospital meet once a month to discuss exercises
and anything that affects the entire community when it comes to
health/medical issues.

We will also be participating in a CERT/Citizen Corp exercise on Saturday,
September 26, 2009. This will be a change from our normal 3rd Saturday
training. I will send more information as it becomes available.
