Hi Lee.

Have you had any success?

I have the manuals for the RA3712 on DVD which are very similar to the 
3701/3702 but front end and synthesizer modules are different, but the 
other modules and the operator's manual is the same.

Fault No 204 is a "BFO Ref Level" warning.

The connectors on the back use SMB RF cables.  I have bought some 
longish one from RS to go with a homebrew extender card (details 
available if required).
