[R-390] Cam alignment

I am sure I am wording my question incorrectly! I thought I remember reading somewhere that when turning the MHZ dial it should be maybe 1/4 turn until it hits the first detent at 0.000 MHz I was just wondering if I don’t set it in the detent at 7.000+ would I still have some range a little above and a little below the ends of the bands. As I said, I’m probably not making it clear,
