Thanks for that, Nick.  I don't think we ever had any formal roll-pin punches in the machine shop where I worked.  We made do with ordinary pin punches and likely never knew such fancy punches existed.  :)

I think you're correct on it being a roll-pin.  I should never even try to trust my memory from that long ago!
