Barry,

I am not sure how the 83-821 compares to others but here are a couple of
sheets that might give you some idea

Good luck!

Subject: [R-390] Amphenol Twin-Ax Assembly?

I received the Amphenol 83-821 that I ordered but I'm not quite sure how
this is to be assembled and I'm not finding anything like an instruction
sheet or video as to how to do that either.

If my guess is correct, I think the two small inner pieces slide together
and are held together with braid (if the twin-ax is shielded) and then
soldered. That holds those two pieces together and then those are inserted
into the threaded end of the shell and are then screwed in place. Of
course, unless the other end of the cable is free, the shell needs to be
slid over the cable first.

Do I have that correct?

Sorry - I thought this would be rather obvious but I found it to be
otherwise.

Thanks,
Barry - N4BUQ
