[R-390] BFO alignment

Is it necessary that the "0" point is exactly (or, at least, very
close to) 455kHz in order for the BFO dial to be accurate?

I aligned the IF deck right at 455kc and tuned the BFO to 455kc at the
"0" point.  It is pretty close to 1kc at the "1" mark and 2kc at the
"2" mark.
