[R-390] Lubrication of KC and MC Bushings

Yes. I found that separating those with a thin blade and some
naphtha helped quite a bit for some of those twinned gears. I went so far
as to take the front plate off of the gear train so I could better access
the remaining gears and allow me to clean the ones that were part of that
front plate assembly much better.
The twinned gears on the KC and MC shafts were very, very stuck together
but I was able to disassemble them completely and get them cleaned up.
I'm still a bit worried, though, that there is some binding in that shaft
that extends from the Oldham coupler of the PTO, through that "spider"
support, and on through the front panel. From what I can tell, that's
where the most torque is coming from. I hate to have to disassemble things
to that point yet again but I may have to, if. for nothing else. to
determine one way or the other where that additional torque is coming from.
I see there's a pin in the collar at the forward side of that spider
support so getting things apart might be a bit more difficult than I'd
hoped.
I may be able to simply loosen the clamp that holds the large twinned gear
which will enable me to spin just the part of the shaft that goes from
there back to the PTO without incorporating the torque from the geartrain.
Of course, that will lose the sync to the PTO so I'll have to do that again
but that's not very difficult. We'll see how that goes.
