Hi Kevin,
If that occurs by the same value of frequency offset on all bands, that's
the PTO for sure.
Maybe one of the temperature compensation capacitors within is failing.
I do not believe that the 3TF7 could be responsible for that.
Is it 12kHz high, or 12kHz low ?
The PTO in your R-390: is it the 1st or the 2nd model ?
Does the heaters are turned on ?

Hi All,
My 390 non A has developed a 12KHz offset when first turned on, and after
about 2 mins it disappears until the next cold start.
It does it on all bands so I'm thinking it has to be the VFO but before I
put a T on the VFOs coax and hook it up to a frequency counter I would ask
here if this is a known bug.
Would the 3FT7 going bad cause something like this?
Thanks
Kevin
