[R-390] First R-390/URR manual ??

Thanks for the effort Dave,

 

But the TM11-5820-357-35 is in fact the third manual published for the
R-390/URR (9 March 1962)

The TM-856 was the second one (January 1955)

And what we are searching for is the envelope containing the “big
schematics” that came with the first manual (Collins Radio, 23 Oct. 1953).

Ok I looked.  My "Field and Depot Maintenance Manual for the R390" is Army
issue and is Dated March 9, 1962.  It appears to be complete BUT schematics,
several need to be taped together.  Its number is TM 11-5820-357-35. 

 

What I had in the envelope were fold out schematics for the GRC-19 system.

Dear R-390 owners (no, not the R-390A ones),

There is any of you that have a copy of (what I believe to be) the first
R-390 manual from Collins radio, dated 23 October, 1953 ??
And especially the envelope of big schematics (20" X 40" size) that comes
with ?
>From a discussion with Perry Sandeen, it seems that I am the only one that
have seen (and hold.. in the 1980s) a copy of this manual (just hope that
not the case)...

If you own an original copy, let us know !!!
