[R-390] Question About the 20 Pin male bulkhead on the IF deck

Hi all,

There is also another method of repairing a broken pin on those
connectors.  I had the same situation as Doug, but mine was a live one so
had to be repaired or replaced.  I decided to put a 'splint' on it, and
that ended up being very strong.  The splint  should be about 1/8" long and
centered on the broken point.  It can be any very thin solderable metal
that you can form into a circle.  Sometimes the break is very close to
the bakelite, but it can be dug out enough to  allow for the 1/16" fit.  My
splint is still going strong after many years.
