[R-390] Question About the 20 Pin male bulkhead on the IF deck

I noticed that the Y2K wiring diagram repeats a potentially confusing error
that evidently has hung around since 1956.
According to the photo (thanks Jacques!), pin 1 is the closest to that end
of the connector.
The pins are staggered, not opposite each other, so pin 1 is the closest to
that end, pin 2 is next, etc. so that pin 16 is closest to the other end.
The Y2K wiring diagram and the 1956 TM 11-856A wiring diagram incorrectly
show the staggered pins, with pin 2 as closest to its end. I haven't
checked other manuals.
The schematic says the wiring goes to pin 2.
So Doug has dodged a bullet with his bent pin 1....
