[R-390] R-390/390A Tuning slug repair?

Hi Renee,  I agree that the solder solution would work if there were
no stress on the joint.  But, unfortunately, the slug racks must be removed
if there is a problem with any of the tuned circuits in the cans in that
lineup.  I've removed and reinstalled the racks enough to know that it is
difficult to do all the time without stressing the slug wires.  Now if a
small splint were to be put on the broken point, then I think it would
stand up to normal maintenance.

But, I don't have any actual experience with soldering the slug wires, so
maybe it would be fine.
