[R-390] Filter Bandwidth Question

I used an HC10 with my R390A and it worked very well after recapping and adjustment. A couple years ago I purchased a CV591A which also works well, but not any better than the HC10.

That HC-10 is just going to cause you frustration and confusion with all those knobs and so on.
Just send to me and I’ll save you lot of trouble. I'll pay shipping.

With some luck, I still have the HC-10 I used to have, buried in the storage unit I am a long distance from now.
As I remember the thing ran quite hot. I plan to put a fan on top of mine (small muffin fan with rubber feet on each corner) for a no-modification cooling system. You might check filament voltage and decide that a line bucking transformer is in order, for that and the R-390A
