Penalty box, indeed. Between you and Foley, the resident beehive kicker,
never a dull moment.

There's still a few of us out here hiding in the weeds, professor. In my
case - marriage, a new baby, and three moves in 11 years tends
to...interfere? Just a bit? I believe it's referred to as a shift in
priorities.

Currently working on probably the last build out of my comms center here in
central VA. It will dwarf the old place -  "Bletchley North" as you once
called it. Got a couple racks of Harris gear sitting in MD to add from my
uncle: 1kw with a pair of RF-590s. The real R-390 non-nuthin' and 'boys' A
model will be in the mix, of course. Will get the Racal back online, too.

Was in my mid 30s when I joined this list last century shortly after Don
assumed the helm from Mike & Chuck. Considerably older now, maybe even a
bit slower. The 'new' baby will be 8 in November. Heading over to TN later
this week to get her a puppy.

And in the interest of full disclosure, it wasn't a 390 variant that was
first fired up here at the new place. It was a Westinghouse Radiola Senior
circa 1922 with a D cell, three 9 volts, a long wire and a set of Brandes
cans tuned to 950 WSM. Just can't remember if I've posted since then or
not. They say the mind is the second thing to go. Can't remember what the
first is....
