[R-390] Old guy needs help identifying some things....

Hello,

I have been discussing with a friend some things we
are hopefully going to purchase from someone who
is downsizing.

In the course of this discussion, we mentioned the
R-725 which if I remember correctly is an R-390A
that has been retrofitted with an R-390 IF deck.
We also talked about a version of the R-390A that
had small adapters plugged into the oscillator tube
sockets so external oscillator signals could be fed
in through bnc connectors on the rear panel.  Could
someone please tell me what the designation of this
receiver is?

Also, in regard to that receiver, my friend claims
he traded me a synthesizer designed to be used with
it.  I have no recollection of this trade but know
that my friends memory is better than mine.  Does anyone
know the designation of this synthesizer...I might be
able to find a picture on the internet that would jog
my memory.

Thanks for any and all help from and old guy...I can
still move an R-390A around as long as don't have to
pick it up off the floor  :-)
